Bicycle Fast Repair - Rod-Eye
thingiverse
A broken aluminum rod on my bicycle's mudguard near the hub required an immediate fix. I attempted to solder it, but unfortunately, that effort ended in failure. Undeterred, I rapidly designed a replacement part and quickly sent it to print. The small print job was completed swiftly, and with some epoxy glue applied, my bike was back on the road in no time. I printed this repair piece using support material and 100% infill as shown. Considering the layer orientation, I believe it is stronger than if I had printed it upright.
