Bicycle Exhaust

Bicycle Exhaust

I was inspired by this design by Amy, and it sparked a creative overhaul of my project to fit my kids bike perfectly. The limitations of my printer, which only prints up to 15x15x15cm, led me to divide the pipe into three parts for optimal results. To bring my vision to life, I drew inspiration from various designs on Thingiverse, including the nut and bolt from NUT JOB (thing:193647), the screw thread from Hollow Cylinder (thing:2210027), and the sliding top mechanism from Box with sliding top (thing:201304) to secure the pipe to the bracket. My design for the bracket was a culmination of different ideas I had in mind, while the pipe itself was mostly my creation, infused with elements from other designs that I cleverly combined. The only missing piece of the puzzle is the sound-making component, which I plan to complete using an old raft or two, held together by a bolt and carefully positioned to just touch the spokes without causing damage, as they can break quickly if not handled properly.
