I pulled the actual .stl files because there's a copyright from a design studio that sells this design commercially. This feels counterproductive for an important message that needs to reach a large audience. While I wait for the design studio's response, I'll create my own alternative version and post it here as soon as it's ready. It's done and added to this collection now. For goodness' sake, please maintain a safe distance when passing bicycles on the road. In Germany, a 1.5-meter (4.9 ft) buffer is mandatory by law but rarely observed or enforced. There are few things more terrifying than the touch of a car's rearview mirror on your elbow at full speed, or getting sucked into another lane by the sheer force of a truck's draft that passes too close and too quickly. This sign comes in two versions: one for multicolor printers and one for single-color printers. The latter is best printed with a filament change around 1.3mm height. Of course, you can also print it in one color and then paint the embossed elements afterwards. Just attach this reminder to your bike or backpack. Sometimes all it takes is a gentle nudge to make a difference. Maybe add some LED stripes for extra visibility – that could be a nice touch. Stay safe on the road!
