I designed a custom disk holder to prevent clothes from getting tangled, as small gears like those on a tandem are hard to find in stores. To make it work seamlessly with the flexible chain cover, I created one myself, and this is its first iteration. It attaches securely to my Santos bike using three cable ties. Testing will begin soon. Update: Field testing has been successful, covering over 100 kilometers without any issues. I've reprinted the disk holder in black now, making it look even better. Since it's made of ABS plastic, which can withstand heat well, I'm concerned that the black color might absorb too much sun exposure when used outdoors. I've also created a second design for a 52-tooth wheel and printed it to my maximum size limit of 20.8 centimeters. Unfortunately, I had hoped to make it slightly larger, but my printer's limitations prevented me from doing so.
