This is an exact replica of the eye exam device from the movie Bicentennial Man. Adam Savage originally created this prop for the film and later featured it on NCIS, a popular TV show. I'm a big fan of art deco, props, and Adam Savage's work in general. That's why I've always wanted to build a replica of this eye exam device. You can see how one is put together and its color scheme from the pictures below. Note that it's missing the LED bar.
