This revamped Advanced Word Pen accommodates the commonly available Bic ball pen inner. Its ergonomically rounded body ensures comfortable writing. The output file contains a fitted cap and auxiliary tabs to prevent print lifting off the build-plate during printing. Pen length adjusts automatically based on text length, which is centered. A snug fit of the pen inner is ensured by dope fitting. Printing success with ReplicatorG and Sailfish firmware relies on precise filament diameter measurement for a perfect cap and ball-point inner fit. A custom profile in ReplicatorG with modified start.gcode is recommended for optimal printing experience. I have provided a sample profile tailored to the Replicator 2, incorporating fine-tuned settings for efficient pen printing. The Bic ball pen cartridges used are sourced from standard Bic ball pens, easily available in office supply stores.
