IMPORTANT NOTICE. Rev 2. July, 17, 2019 If you downloaded this set of parts before the above date and will use my "BIBO2 Touch-Printing Head Front Bearings Support and Fan Blower Support" (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3746739) you must download and print files "Upper Hinge.Back Right-R02.STL" and "Upper Hinge.Back-Left-R02.STL". Replace the old "Upper Hinge.Back" with these parts to prevent the fan blower crashing against the hinges when you move the printer head from (min X,, min Y) to (max X, minY) I highly recommend the BIBO2 Touch Printer for non-professional users. It's a fantastic machine that I'm thoroughly enjoying. Nevertheless, there are a few design flaws in its door that I'd like to address. 1.- The door doesn't stay open at the upper position; it falls down and closes itself. 2.- The door is slightly bent and twisted, causing issues with closure. Additionally, my printer is situated near the computer due to the short USB cable, which leads to warping problems while printing ABS. The uneven temperature distribution inside the printer causes warping, primarily at the southeast corner of the part nearest the opening of the door. Sealing the door with electrical tape seemed to fix the problem, but I'd like a more practical solution. 3.- The rod (axis) of the original hinges is difficult to disassemble. Disassembling the door requires unscrewing four bolts for either the upper or lower hinges. Mounting the upper hinges can be frustrating due to the lack of space to hold the nuts while screwing in the bolts. I prefer not to remove the lower hinges to prevent cracking the door from over-tightening the nuts. 4.- Near the upper right hinge nuts, there are two wires powering the LED strip. I failed to notice them and chafed one wire while tightening a nut, posing a risk of short-circuiting if both wires were chafed with the same nut. 5.- There were several incipient cracks around the holes of the handle. My goal was to design and print a set of parts to resolve these issues.
