Can be used with both 1.75mm and 3mm filament in case you've modified your printer. The suffix 30x3.5 is a thread size, only those with this suffix are compatible. Same goes to no suffix. I upgraded my guide holder because the holes were too big, making it relatively useless. I decided to add a feature that cleans clogs from dust build up, which has been an issue for me. I wrapped a piece of old 100% cotton T-shirt around the filament as it passes through, cleaning it. I cut a new section every time and changed the cloth without readjusting it each time. However, in my house dust builds up quickly, so I adjust the cloth after about a spool of filament. **Room for Improvement** When designing this piece, I prioritized strength, easily printable threads, and hole spacing, overlooking the overall height. The top tips of the base structure are taller than the metal frame of the BIBO - if you're OCD about flush designs, modify it. I don't mind them being taller because it keeps my acrylic topper from being pulled off the back of the machine. There's plenty of room to mount a filament-run-out-sensor above or below the cleaner threads.
