Bibo 2 dual extruder leveling block (yet another)
thingiverse
I drew inspiration from others' concepts, including one submitted by 2hot6ft2. I sought to design a fixture that would fit snugly over the block without altering its dimensions or relying on a rigid edge below it. This design boasts a "nozzleheight" of 27.9mm, measuring the distance between the block's bottom and the nozzle's tip. To accommodate varying nozzle heights, I've included a Fusion 360 file with adjustable parameters. If your nozzles are slightly higher, you can easily use thicker gauges to compensate. Typically, I prefer setting my secondary nozzle about .05-.1mm above the primary one to avoid drag on the model. With this jig and a thickness gauge, achieving that desired nozzle height is a breeze. Since I printed this fixture vertically, its nozzle surface is flat and level along its entire length. However, printing it tall requires adding supports for those outer arms.
