Bias tape maker
thingiverse
Another DIY enthusiast just like me. This project takes 40mm wide fabric and converts it into 21mm single fold tape by folding it twice. The small slot on the bottom surface makes it easy to push the fabric through using a pin or similar tool. For optimal results, use a steam iron to flatten the folded fabric as soon as it comes out of the tape maker. When choosing your fabric, keep in mind that woven fabric cut diagonally across the grain will produce soft and flexible tape perfect for curved edges. On the other hand, if you cut your fabric along the grain, the resulting tape will be stronger and ideal for mask ties or other similar applications. To ensure smooth operation of this project, print it with a minimum layer height. Also, don't worry about support material since the internal structure should print correctly when done point up.
