This stunning lamp is crafted with precision, utilizing a unique geometric curve known as a bi-arc to create its distinctive top shape. To bring the entire design to life, I combined this curved element with a vertically extruded star shape featuring 15 points, carefully truncated to produce flat ends. This ingenious combination forms the vertical component of the lamp. Next, I skillfully cut holes in the resulting geometry using an array of precision pipe shapes. This extraordinary lamp is designed to cradle any one of several high-performance LED lights, commonly referred to as "puck" lights. These versatile lights can be powered by either batteries or wall power, offering unparalleled flexibility. For those seeking reliable wall-powered options, I recommend visiting the following links on my blog: http://birkbinnard.com/blog/wall-powered-led-lights/. After a print time of just over 44 hours, utilizing a print speed of 80 mm/sec and a layer height of 0.200 mm, this lamp emerged as a true masterpiece of 3D printing technology.
