Bialetti Moka Pot Drying Frame (3 cup)
thingiverse
Traditionally, Italian moka pots are washed by hand without soap after each use and allowed to air dry completely. Unfortunately, the three-piece construction of a traditional moka pot takes up a significant amount of space while drying. The Bialetti Buddy allows a moka pot to be reassembled for the air-drying process, reducing the coffee maker's footprint back to its original size. To do this, simply place the grounds basket in the top of the pot with the stem poking out through the spout. Then stack the moka pot bottom, Bialetti Buddy drying frame, and moka pot top together. In addition, you can flip the Bialetti Buddy upside down to use it as a stabilizer for the grounds basket while filling it up and tamping down espresso grounds. This particular design was created specifically for the 3-cup (4.4-oz) coffee maker. Due to its unique arches, this design can be printed using only supports that touch the build plate. A big thank you goes out to medieval Duomo designers for coming up with this brilliant idea.
