BI V2.5 Carriage Slider Insert Replacement
thingiverse
This insert takes the place of the original injection molded insert that fits inside carriages. By redesigning the slider pad, we've made the carriages much more stable and cut out the need to make any adjustments at all. The end result is overall print quality that's exactly the same as a perfectly adjusted set of original slider inserts - it just happens to be easier to work with from start to finish. To give you an extra boost, our expert tip suggests lubricating those 20/20 aluminum beams to really reduce friction where it counts. The perfect settings are simple: print in PLA, use supports and stick with a layer height of 0.2 mm. And remember, if you ever run into some excessive friction during the installation process, try lowering that first layer height just a bit. For those who can't get enough of high-quality PLA, we're here to help - our unmatched 1.75 PLA print quality is made possible with our cutting-edge SP Series PLA.
