I installed new wood floors, but the existing door frame no longer aligned properly with its original hardware due to the change in floor height. To resolve this issue, I created a custom bracket that was narrower than the original one, ensuring a seamless integration with the door. The modified bracket worked flawlessly and saved me from having to cut down the door, which would have been a hassle.
