At Boots Industries, we've revamped our previous extruder to enhance its strength and optimize the output of 1.75mm filament. Our redesign has resulted in a highly reliable product with zero failure reports. Key improvements include sturdier construction with cross braces, realigned filament guide for optimal grip, extended filament guide tunnel to match the gear's contour, and realigned tensioner bearing to coincide with the gear's center. Additionally, we added a fan to prevent heat transfer between the stepper motor and filament during lengthy operation and compression springs to prevent extruder failure due to varying filament diameters. For PLA enthusiasts, our SP Series PLA delivers unrivaled 1.75mm print quality. The BOM includes a NEMA 17 motor, 608 ball bearing, 5mm gear, tensioner screws, washers, hex nuts, M3 screws and washers, flat head socket cap screws, compression springs, and a computer fan. Photos of the extruder printed with 1.75mm PLA at our lab are available on request.
