The concept revolves around cultivating lung-breathing capacity, focusing on both positive and negative airflow. This unit functions similarly to an engine cylinder or a medical syringe, drawing in and pushing out air through a directional valve. Each cylinder component can be produced via 3D printing. To operate, it requires an electric motor and power regulator along with a rechargeable backup battery. The piston, valve ball, and gasket are composed of rubber, while the remaining parts could be made from acrylic or PVC. A brass bolt connects the bottom plate to the cylinder head cover, ensuring all components remain securely fastened. To control the motor speed, an additional controller can be integrated to match the desired breathing rate. Standard oxygen, humidifier valves, and a mask are necessary for delivering air to the patient. Optional negative suction can be achieved by utilizing rebreathing chambers if desired.
