Introduction ========= BGI (Board Game Inserts) is a macro for FreeCAD (version 0.19+) allowing for the easy creation of boxes, trays and holders, with or without lids. Everything is done via point and click, the UI has plenty of tooltips to help you along. There is also a pdf tutorial with installation instructions and a couple of step-by-step examples to get you up to speed. Installation ======== Extract the contents of **bgi.zip** into your FreeCAD Macro directory: > For Linux this would be **/home/username/.FreeCAD/Macro** > For Windows 10 this would be **C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\FreeCAD\Macro** Obviously replace username with your username. You should end up with a file (**bgi.FCMacro**) and a folder (**bgi**). Inside **bgi** are another 2 files (**bgi.ui** and **bgi_rc.py**). Usage ====== Read **bgi.pdf**, it contains 2 step-by-step examples to make: > box for playing cards > containers for multi drawer storage organisers
