The CAD model was a wheel rim imported directly into Maya, where the tire was created from scratch. Modeled after an original tire wheel rim, every detail was meticulously preserved. The tire boasts a unique UV mapping strategy that combines different techniques for optimal results. Three export formats are available: FBX, OBJ, and STL, with the latter limited to the rim itself. Breaking down the full model's geometry reveals impressive numbers: 102,448 polygons and 91,821 vertices. In contrast, one tire has a more modest polygon count of 22,351 faces and 26,813 vertices, while the rim itself boasts an even higher number of 80,097 faces and 65,008 vertices.
