This printable spindle holder offers both strength and economy, using minimal plastic filament. Compatible with Bits From Bytes filament spindles, it's a great choice for adding colorful accents to various projects, including toys. The blue version is the latest iteration, functioning flawlessly with low friction. Skate bearings are unnecessary for this application. An alternative design consists of just part A, which can be oversized for a convex shape allowing the spindle to revolve like a carousel; however, it's less reliable. For assembly, apply super glue to the spokes of part A and use standard steel wire or M2x5/M3x5 bolts and nuts as axles. Part B has no hole for an axle, so various options are available for centering it.
