The BFB's hot end (found at http://www.bitsfrombytes.com) is a highly efficient design, but its manufacture requires access to special tools. Fortunately, BFB sells the parts separately. The scad file contains several modules, including hBarrel for the aluminum heat barrel, hPeek for the PEEK insulator, hALU for the Al tube, hPTFE for the PTFE (teflon) tube, and hREST for the Al pressure pad, screw holders, MDF/acrylic insulators, and final plate.
