BFB Buggy remote control

I saw a video on YouTube last time I watched it, at this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2oevP2eKNk and wanted to get my hands on those files. After a bit of searching I eventually found and downloaded them. They ended up sitting on my computer hard drive waiting for me after I had completely forgotten about them, so I decided to make it easier for everyone else by uploading the files here. If you've got one of the smaller 3D printers out there then you might want to try printing "roll cage", "roof" and "shell frame" separately from the file that combines all three in one place, labeled as "090 shell". Here's an article about it at http://www.hobbymedia.it/41275/bfbuggy-lautomodello-rc-stampato-in-3d. I'm not taking any credit for creating this - I just found it and thought it was something worth sharing. I eventually managed to track down the original creator, David Sparling at http://www.davidsparling.co.uk/3d.html. The "roof" file that comes with the rest of the body parts isn't actually the roof when split out - it's the bonnet and boot instead. I tried doing a quick estimate for the cost of all the materials you'll need to print this thing, just to see what sort of cash you might have to shell out. It looks like $16-$20/kg at 100% infill is roughly right, based on my very rough math. James_III had a bit of a hack with some parts so that they fit together properly better now, and here's a link to what he came up with - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:692161. And you might also want to have a look at the build thread for this project on RC-hemmot, located here - http://www.rc-hemmot.com/keskustelu/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16 - but I reckon you may need to use one of those translate tools so that you can understand what they're saying. I went ahead and threw the original Solidworks files into the "Dune Buggy Print Files" zip package, courtesy of a link from David Sparling in the comments area. It turns out it's no longer active though, but I've gone ahead and thrown the .bfb files into there too, on the off-chance that you or someone else can use them for whatever they are - to be honest with you though, I have absolutely no idea what format those Solidworks files are meant to be used in since I'm not familiar at all with the software. But hey - it was worth a try right?
