Bezel (frame) for TeNizo 7-inch HDMI LCD display-B (used w/Raspberry Pi)
thingiverse
Users of Raspberry Pi model 3B+ (RPI3-MODBP) can easily find the 7 inch IPS Touch Screen LCD Display Monitor HD 800x480 with HDMI by TeNizo, part number B07N1MP4NH, rev 2.0, on Amazon.\r\n\r\nOne thing that may be hard to come by is a bezel for it. A "bezel" is essentially a mount for the display, resembling a frame from the front but also featuring means to attach the display board to it and secure it to a sheet-metal panel. I took the initiative here to suggest to management that I could design and print a bezel, which is exactly what I did.\r\n\r\nTo securely attach this bezel to a sheet metal panel, I've incorporated 4 pairs of slots that accommodate small metal brackets with screws that push against the sheet metal. The brackets came from a bezel we had bought for another display. I'm confident they can be purchased separately, but I haven't looked into it yet. In the next few days, I'll either track them down and link you to where you can buy them or design a printable bracket that fits those slots.\r\n\r\nI plan to upload gcode for PETG tomorrow since I already have the file on my other computer, and I may add PLA options maybe next week as I currently run low on PLA and haven't had the chance to test it yet.\r\n\r\nUPDATE: The PETG gcode has been added but it prints a bit roughly. I still need to complete my PETG learning curve to get better results.
