Bezel for 2x 8 Digit 7 Segment LED Modules (MAX7219)
thingiverse
This is a custom-designed panel mount display bezel created specifically for two 8-digit 7-segment display modules that utilize the MAX7219 controller. A recess is included in the design to accommodate a 65mm x 35mm x 3mm window, which I made from a piece of dark/smoked Perspex acrylic sheet. The panel mount bezel features four mounting holes for each display module, perfectly suited for M3 screws (only two screws are needed in the diagonally opposite corners of each display). The LED displays securely clamp the window into place (do not overtighten the screws; they should be snug to the PCB). The parts I used were: * 2x 8-digit 7-segment LED display modules with MAX7219 controllers * Smoked Perspex sheet measuring 65mm x 35mm x 3mm * 8 M3 x 8 socket-headed button screws To assemble the panel mount bezel, carefully drill out the holes using a 2.5mm drill bit, and the M3 screws should easily tap into the holes. For reference, I used the following display modules: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07CKSKNGW
