Beyond UMO & UM2 Slideblocks by Gudo & Neotko - GT2 Open Belt

This is a Beyond Slideblocks V2 that I made with Gudo. The adapters enable seamless integration on Ultimaker Original, allowing users to effortlessly switch to Ultimaker 2 by upgrading the thin 6mm shafts and changing the hotend. Additionally, experienced users can modify their firmware, reposition endstops, and achieve full compatibility with the Ultimaker 2+ bed, provided they possess the necessary technical expertise. These slideblocks offer an extra few millimeters of print area compared to others on the UMO, while also being designed specifically for GT2 Open Belts. I utilized my 303T belts, trimming them down and removing seven teeth to accommodate this setup. Due to time constraints, I haven't been able to compile a comprehensive manual yet, but seasoned users should be able to quickly grasp how to utilize these slideblocks effectively. This assembly employs x16 M2.5 nuts and 16 screws measuring 10mm in length for Ultimaker 2 and Ultimaker 3 compatibility, which indeed extends to the latter model as well. For UMO+, it requires x24 M2.5 nuts, x8 M2.5mm 10mm long screws, and x8 M2.5 16mm long screws. Additionally, you'll need x8 M2.5 screws for the adapters holding the shaft in place. Apart from the M2.5 components, you will also require x4 M3 nuts and x4 M3 16mm long screws for the tension component. I have made the STEP file available for anyone to modify as needed. Enjoy printing! To avoid manual cleaning, print at a slower pace – I printed mine at 50-60mm/s and encountered minor tolerances that required filing. It's worth the extra effort to save time in the long run. The Left and Front slideblocks feature holes designed to accommodate endstops. The larger hole is for the Left slideblock, while the smaller one serves the Front slideblock. You can secure it using glue, fuse the plastics together with heat, or print at a slower pace to achieve a tight fit.
