Beyerdynamic DT990 Headphones sliding part
thingiverse
I'm really frustrated because my headphones slider fell off and disappeared. I designed a replacement part using Solidworks and created a new model. I printed it out with PLA, but unfortunately, I don't have a heated bed to help with the process. Despite this limitation, the PLA material worked, albeit for a very short period of time. To improve its performance, I tweaked some measurements to enhance stiffness and pressure on the "knob." Notably, I made the knob slightly larger than the original size (1.5 mm) to see if it would make a difference. I'm also considering trying nylon or ABS as alternative materials, as they might work even better. To my delight, the new design works perfectly fine.
