I'm eager to create a system that enables me to seamlessly switch filaments by pausing the print at a specific layer, then switching colors and resuming the printing process without any hiccups. I rely on OctoPrint as my interface, sending a M600 pause command to temporarily halt the print, swapping out the filament for one with a fresh color, and finally issuing a M601 resume command to get the printer back in action.
