I'm excited about assembling polyhedra using glass sheets cut and chamfered down to half the dihedral angle so they can be bonded together. This V-tool is a rest for the glass sheet when chamfering on a bench diamond grinder. The angle is engraved on the back face of the V-tool. To create a V-tool for a dihedral angle of Y, set angle to 90 - Y/2 The V-tool and its recessed text print out perfectly on a RepRap Mendel. The images show the chamfer support for an octahedron being used on a bench diamond grinder, and two equal V-tools together used as a jig to bond the edges of two trial sheets of glass.
