This mini speed square is just like carrying a piece of precision around with you, tucked safely away in your apron pocket. I find it really useful for marking out frames and borders, not to mention those tricky miter cuts. Diamond-shaped holes along the perpendicular slot measure 5mm give or take 2mm, 10mm give or take 2mm - you get the picture! To mark a spot 3mm away from an edge, just look for that first diamond-shaped hole nearest the fence. Printing this with PLA material sounds like a great idea to me. Hopefully, it'll be just as useful for you too!
