I created an alternative E1 or E2 module as an extension. See the attached pictures. You can use it as a long tube road for ants between the formicarium and arena, or as an elevator to reach different floors. Mix it up however you like. ATTENTION: The MM refers to the inner diameter of the tube. - 6mm is 9mm outside - 8mm is 11mm outside - 10mm is 14mm outside I will update the file names later. UPDATE: I added single object files for each module. There are modules available for 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm tubes. For smaller ants, I recommend using the 6mm option because they are easy to bend. The 8mm modules are great for bigger ants, while the 10mm is quite fat. The shortway modules have connections to the floor at every stop, allowing ants to enter or leave the tube. In contrast, the longway tubes are closed off from the nest and only allow ants to pass through the module (without cutting the tube). They serve as a holder for the tube so it can hang stably in a circle. You can also create custom modules with connections only at the front or back within the SCAD software. Feel free to use the mid-module and insert cotton into unused holes. I plan on making caps to cover these holes soon. I hope you enjoy this creation, and please provide feedback!
