Prusa steel clones X carriage isn't rigid enough. and when i have a laser cut steel already its stupid to use 8 mm rods for z axis. My x axis carriage design slides on the laser cut parts. For x axis rods i replace 10mm rods. I 3d print linear bearings. if you use only x carriage (no bearings) that is good too In gantry parts there is a hole for m8 nuts to use m8 screw rods If gantry squezes the frame try aceton in the sliding part. aceton softens the abs part slides perfectly if you do this carefully. I design lots of adjust holes for using different extruders I dont like the extruder holder design because of vertical layers I use 2 aluminium parts to secure gt2 belt I use 1 608 bearing in one of the gantry part and secure with a m6 30mm I use 2 10mm rods to slide X
