Better Minecraft Character
thingiverse
Tried printing a lot of the Steve figures here on Thingiverse, and noticed that a great deal are pretty lacking in articulation and durability, which is an issue when making stuff for my niece. So, I spent a few days prototyping and testing a custom figure! There are 12 points of articulation, and with the settings on my Ender 3 Pro it takes about 5 hours to make everything. Printing: I used a resolution of 1.6, but I think it SHOULD work at a higher/lower resolution. STL files are the right size. You WILL have to mirror the Thighs, upper arms, and lower arms in order to print, but that can be done easily in any standard slicer. If you are using an Ender 3, congratulations! I went ahead and included the 3 gcode files I use to make these! All in all, I hope y'all enjoy my first 3D printing project. I had a lot of fun, and my niece absolutely loves this thing! Feel free to remix!
