Better Laminate Flooring Wall Spacer
thingiverse
UPDATE: After making some adjustments to my original spacers, I made an update. The drywall behind the trim was high enough that the spacer could fit under the drywall and thus the laminate wouldn't be 1/4th of an inch spaced. The updated design features a lip that sits flush against the drywall to prevent the spacer from tipping back under it and maintains the gap I wanted. This spacer is designed to keep laminate flooring from getting too close to the wall. I'm currently working on a massive project where I need to keep the flooring 1/4 inch away from the wall to allow for expansion and contraction. The spacers that came with my flooring were completely unsatisfactory, they kept moving around and slipping under the wood. I've had to throw quite a few of them across the room. This design keeps the flooring 1/4 inch away from the wall but also features an L shape which keeps it firmly in place much better.
