Better HBP Leveler Parts
thingiverse
Initially, I faced issues while printing Scooter's "HBP Leveler Part 1A" (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:9094) due to the support material for overhang not staying in place, resulting in a tangled mess on my HBP. To resolve this, I used OpenSCAD to add a small raft under the support material, which significantly improved the printing process. I must note that Scooter's HBP Leveler thing is amazing, and I only made these adjustments due to my ToM calibration not being as precise as his. As an update, I have also included an STL file with insets for the round box-head bolts that come with your MakerBot kit, as I didn't have flush bolts initially. Additionally, I made adjustments to the insets for the coupling bolts and removed the inset for the bolt used with the magnet to allow using smaller box-head bolts while maintaining clearance for the HBP bolts. Furthermore, I added a palette of thumb wheels to save time during printing. To achieve optimal results, use the "Better_HBP_Leveler_Part1_A_MagnetSupport.stl" file with the following settings: MK7 + Aluminum HBP + Kapton tape, 20% infill, 0 extra shells, 30 mm/s feed rate, 0.25 mm layer height.
