Better Greenworks 40V battery holder

Better Greenworks 40V battery holder

thingiverse

When printing one of the models found on Thingiverse, I realized that it doesn't really fix the battery, the battery is fixed only by friction. I wanted to have a holder that was easy to use and reliable. Battery should slide in easily with no pressure and should slide out only if you press the button. Also I wanted the mounting screws to be away from the contacts (just in case), also just in case I wanted the contacts to be covered. I have 2 different (old style and new style) Greenworks 40V batteries and this model works perfectly with both of them. Press the button slide in - press the button slide out. My batteries are hanging on the height of 2 meters, so I really don't want them to fall this is why I user such settings. Printing material PET-G Print Settings: 5 Walls 5 Top 5 Bottom 30 % infill Support pattern Grid Important Infill speed should be low- not more than 80mm/s on higher speeds PET-G infill becomes not rugged. Enjoy !
