Better Einsy Case
prusaprinters

I designed my own Einsy case based loosely on the the “Embiggened” design by Martin_au, but made several changes/improvements:

Reduced wall thickness results in improved print time

Design optimized for a 0.6mm nozzle and 0.4mm layer height

Fully parametric FreeCad design: various properties (wall thickness, hole sizes, etc.) can be adjusted

No supports required

Hingeless design: side access panel is held securely to the frame using hinge screws, but can be easily removed

M3 x 4mm heat-set inserts for screws that need to be easily removed

Self-tapping holes for infrequently used screws (such as the ones holding the Einsy board in place)

No frame disassembly required

This design is the result of “a few” iterations (see final image).

I recommend using my T-slot nut to attach the “brace” to the lower part of the frame.
