Make a pillar based on Saul Goodman's office from Better Call Saul/Breaking Bad It clips together and I added some superglue. There are screw holes in top and bottom as I used this to support an extra shelf on a desk. There are versions with no holes (Top/Bottom No Screw files). You might want to make the pillar taller, it's short overall as that's the height I wanted my shelf. (I've now added a longer version of the pillar)
