The shelf board was part of a China cupboard in the captain's quarters on the Betsy, a British ship sent to the bottom during the American Revolution. It was 3D-scanned with a Go!Scan 50 on February 23, 2018. Because of its fragile condition as a conserved object, one side that rested against a flat surface remained unscanned. The Virginia Department of Historic Resources is thanked for their courtesy in making this object available for scanning.
