Betrayal at the House on the Hill Print in Place Game Pad Holder
thingiverse
I reworked it in Fusion360, drawing inspiration from that post. The design is quite similar, but can be printed as a single piece. Supports are only necessary for the arms. I opted for 100% infill since the model is very thin anyway. Lower infill settings caused issues with printing a top layer of shell under the arms. It took several print attempts to adjust flow rate and horizontal expansion so that the design would have some friction. Printing in PETG is recommended, as it's softer and provides good friction, unlike PLA which tends to scrape. I've found this to be the case in my experience; if you get better results, please let me know. I paused printing a couple of times after the first few layers when the dials were touching the bottom of the pad. The slicing software used was CURA 3.5.1, and it worked out well.
