I successfully loaded the .obj file into Slic3r, where it printed with no issues. Unfortunately, Cura wasn't cooperating for me, but I did manage to convert it to a .stl file instead. However, that file size ended up being much larger than the original .obj and Thingiverse isn't too fond of it either. Give Cura or Slic3r a try.
