Betrayal at House on the Hill: Madman Companion
thingiverse
I created a customized version of the Betrayal at House on the Hill: Madman Companion using a model from the Fantasy Mini Collection as my starting point. I employed their software to make targeted adjustments, specifically relocating the staff, legs, and lantern to facilitate smoother printing. Next, I opted to replace the base of the Demon Dog with one that matched the standard issue bases used in the game, ensuring uniformity among the figures. Following this substitution, I scaled up the piece to align with the Madman size requirements. To overcome printing challenges caused by support material for the lantern and arms, I decided to print the model in two separate parts and then assemble them using glue. This approach eliminated issues that would have arisen from attempting to sand down the entire model. Before applying paint, I performed some basic trimming of strings with cutters and nail clippers to refine the piece. The result was a visually appealing figure ready for painting.
