BetaFPV Naked Gopro Hero 8 Black LITE case remixed for lcd and lens cover

This is a remix of the BetaFPV design of the Gopro Hero 8 Black naked version case. The edited front case stl is now able to use the original Gopro 8 lens glass cover and also incorporate the front LCD case: shell_A_for_gopro_8_v1_modified.stl The rear case has the SD card cover and text removed: shell_B_for_gopro_8_v1_modified.stl If you are wondering why the large vent below the LCD, well you will need enough airflow else the mainboard will burn. I have also created a mount for it that has a 3 mm hole and is 10mm wide available in the download section (which is non-standard but I wanted a thick mounting base that was easy to design mounts for my other fpv quads): Gopro mount.stl The official STL files for Naked GoPro HERO8 Case released by BteFPV can be downloaded from the download section or the official website link : https://betafpv.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/27000064755-stl-file-for-case-for-naked-gopro-hero8 Attached is also a step by step guide on how to disassemble the Gopro Hero 8 by Jonah Blaeser: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SbetTFhECogr-prt_DqIpXEdTE3Jd8EF/ From the disassembled Gopro you will need the mainboard, camera assembly, from lcd screen and microphone (optional but you can jam it into the naked Gopro case for audio). Attached is what I was left with. You will need the BetaFPV BEC Board for Naked Camera (Gopro 8): https://betafpv.com/products/bec-board-for-naked-camera Additional tutorial: How to connect a naked Gopro 8 to your phone without a screen: - ensure your phone bluetooth is turned on - ensure you have Gopro Labs working on the Gopro 8 by testing a few test QR codes - while doing the previous step, estimate the optimal distance from the screen when the Gopro recognizes QR codes (this is important because the bluetooth/wifi binding QR code does not give any confirmation that it has recognized the QR code) - start the Gopro Quik app on your phone and be prepared to click/tap on the search/add/connect to a Gopro icon - keep the camera pointed towards the bluetooth/wifi binding QR code (attached in the download section) at the optimal distance it recognizes QR codes (keep it pointed till the next step) - press the Mode button 3 times - tap on the search/add/connect to a Gopro icon on the Gopro Quik app on your phone This should connect the Gopro to your phone. You may have to do this a few times to get the sequence right. For each attempt I recommend switching off the Gopro and pulling out the battery and starting all over again. The QR code is attached in the download section which is based on the raw text code: !PA I will also advise to solder a wire to the wifi pad (next to the top left camera module screw when viewed from behind the pcb) measuring a length of 31mm to avoid burning the wifi module. You can see how I have done this in the photos and tucked the wire inside the case. Video stabilization support: In its current form the Naked Gopro 8 can support Gyro stabilization of footage and you can process this in Gyroflow which is an opensource project available on Github : https://github.com/ElvinC/gyroflow I have also made a Gyroflow lens preset for the Gopro Hero 8 black which is available in the download section: GoPro_Hero_8_Black_2_7K_4by3_60fps_wide.json Additional hardware required: - M1.4x4 screws - M1.4x5 screws - M1.4x8 screws Printing recommendations: This can be a difficult print for most printers and so I have also included cut versions of the design for easy printing that can finally can be super glued together (Sliced models for printing.zipx). I have also provided titled versions of the models so they can be printed as a single print at such an angle that breaking away supports is much easier and the surface finish is cleaner. (these version have a "tilted_for_FDM" suffix).
