<h3>Beta95X V2 Bottom Plate</h3><p>Since BetaFPV recycles their V1 camera mount as a bottom plate for the V2, I decided to build a better bottom plate. I didn't like that the quadrotor can't be placed horizontally at level and that the USB port is just not accessible, no matter how you flip the flight controller.</p><p>So this design fixes</p><ul><li><strong>leveled placement</strong> and</li><li><strong>USB accessibility</strong> and (optionally) adds</li><li><strong>landing gear</strong> and</li><li>and a cable/receiver<strong>compartment</strong>.</li></ul><h4>Notes</h4><ul><li>All models require support except for the <i>easy print</i> versions, that dispense with the wings/flaps that close the lower notches in the molded frame. The version with USB also dispenses with the protrusion for the USB connector.</li><li>Other file names are long but pretty much self-explanatory.</li><li>Print using 100% infill.</li><li>The landing gear design is inspired by the Umma95.</li><li>The 1 mm spacing around the USB port is intentional to avoid the transmission of vibrations from the frame to the flight controller.</li><li>Two screws should be sufficient. One of the four holes in the molded frame has a different diameter anyway.</li><li>2 mm compartment version is good for storing a few cables (see 1st image, 2nd image is the plain flat version)</li><li>5 mm compartment version should be good for housing a receiver (not tested by myself).</li><li>Post your make! Update</li></ul><p>I added a v2 of the design I finally ended up with (landing gear, no compartment; see 3rd image). Basically it is just a cleaner redesign with a better fitting USB slot and improved landing gear.</p>
