Beta85X HD Canopy with adjustable camera angle
thingiverse
I was unhappy from the very start with the Beta 85X HD's high camera angle, which made it impossible to fly slowly indoors. @ahpaa designed a canopy that puts the camera more forward and allows adjusting the angle in a wide range, but he didn't finish it and I encountered several problems when trying to use his design. - The two horns for protecting the camera obstructed my view at low angles. - The frame material was too weak to support a third screw hole on the front side. I modified @ahpaa's design by cutting off the horns, closing the top further since the front screw wasn't needed, and replacing it with a front hook for frame fixation. The camera angle is limited now by the ducts coming into view. If I had access to the original design, I would move the camera even further forward to eliminate this problem, but the current angle is already low enough for most cases. This canopy has another nice benefit - you can now add a Caddx ND filter.
