A more balanced canopy that shifts the HD cam forward offers better slow cine flights with fewer camera angles. This setup relieves the cam cable from being crimped to the HD board since the cam is further forward and slightly higher. However, it weighs 1g heavier than the stock design. This canopy has a parametric model for easy customization. To mount it: First, thread the cam into the canopy but don't bolt it on yet. Once you've finished mounting all electronics, screw in the canopy. Then, shift the camera out through the front to expose the 3rd screw (located at the front of the craft) and screw it down. Finally, bolt on the camera. Unfortunately, the start record button is inaccessible with this setup. To avoid this issue, I use auto-record instead. Feel free to edit as you see fit.
