bestway intex swimming pool sprinkler water jet water fountain

Here's a sprinkler/jet thing that I knocked up to suit my Bestway 14 foot pool. It uses a 32mm hose. There are two versions of the base. One has two holes (which are 12mm wide with 172.5mm centres) to fit my pin locations on my pool, as seen in pictures. This allows me to use original pins. I've also included a base with a centre hole to accommodate other pools (then use other holes to cable tie to the frame to prevent it from spinning). There are some inserts available to reduce the pin size if using different bolts/pins. Alternatively, you can create new holes to suit your pool in Tinkercad, SketchUp or something similar. Edit: I've also added a base with 134.5 centres. I've included four nozzles. There's a 68mm and 44mm one. The 68mm one is a wider spray but doesn't go as far as the 44mm. The 44mm is a narrower spray but goes further. I recommend printing the 68mm one first to see how it performs. I have a decent sand filter, and the included nozzles work fine. If your pump isn't powerful (paper filter type normally), use the ones named HIGH PRESSURE (basically similar to others, though the nozzle width is narrower at 1mm instead of 2mm). If I attach one of them to my filter, the water lands in next door but one's garden. Ensure you print them out at a layer height of 0.2 or less. I used PETG, so it doesn't warp in sunlight etc. No supports are needed, but I recommend using a raft or brim to print the nozzles. A lot of this was trial and error. The nozzles included here suited my pool, and the water landed back in the pool, so they should suit any from 14ft upwards round. I did mess about playing around with it, and found that tiny adjustments made a BIG difference to the pressure, often ending up with the flow landing outside my pool. If you want to try making your own nozzles, the diameter of the nozzle is 31.70mm...if you do make any, post them here, and I'll give them a go. I run this with a short 32mm hose from inside the pool using an adaptor like one in the link below. This enables kids just to pop the hose on and off inside the pool to stop and start it.....you can also run the pump straight to it, though you'd need to plug the hole on return with a pool bung...I haven't printed the one in the link, so I can't vouch for fit etc., but it's the first one I came across, so it should give you an idea. I recommend looking around Thingiverse and seeing what's available, though they're only a few quid on eBay if you don't already have one. Also try switching between filter and recirculate on sand filter as both have different pressure... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2469017 All comments welcome, and if anyone makes this, I'd appreciate it if you could post a make as only just learning Fusion 360 as there's sod all else to do with this lockdown :-) so be nice to see someone else using something I made...Cheers!
