Yes, This Really IS the Best Oil Funnel That I Have Ever Used! This idea isn't new. Old timers like myself remember metal oil cans with spouts that plunged into the top of the oil can. Valve covers were deep enough to let you stick the oil can in and walk away while it drained. Those days are long gone, and I've been cursing plastic oil cans ever since - until now. Features: - Locks onto valve cover for vehicles listed under various adapters - Holds draining oil bottle - Drains as fast as a quart oil bottle - No venting needed; just pull out dip stick if you experience any issues - There's also a "Big Bertha" funnel for those using gallon jugs of oil, but it's not designed to hold the jug. Files & Notes: - WARNING: Please print adapter in nylon. Breaking off in valve cover is the last thing you want. - NOTE: Adapters have left-handed threads, so when removing the funnel from your car, it has a tightening action. - Funnel.stl (PETG). 20% fill with 5 perimeters. I used a brim just to be safe. - ADAPTERS ARE PRINTED IN NYLON, 30% FILL, 5 PERIMETERS - vw-adapter.stl: VW GTI/Rabbit/Golf/Jetta; Mercedes E350CDI (OM642 engine) - vwmk7.stl: VW mk7 GTI - F150aa.stl (also requires an O-Ring the same size as your original cap): F150 - BigBertha.stl: A friend didn't like my "Best Funnel" and just wanted a BIG funnel for dumping from a 5 Liter bottle. - blank-adapter.stl: Just a threaded tube. - GasketDie.stl (PLA) for cutting gasket between bottom and valve cover. This only works marginally; you'll need to finish the job with a razor. I used 1/12" neoprene gasket material from Amazon. - For sealing top and bottom parts, I recommend permanently sealing threads or using Nylon tape. Remixing: If you want to remix an adapter for your car, the only way is to merge blank adapter onto your design. The reason is that Fusion 360 "fixed" trapezoidal threads used in this design, so you can't generate compatible threads now.
