||IMPORTANT A CALIBRATED PRINTER NEEDED|| //Important Too\\ YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD EACH FILE INDIVIDUALY For some reason, thingisverse have old version in their zip file STEPS: 1-Buy the prescription glasses(the link is bellow) with your prescription but with 65 ipd and 1.57mid-index or the lower possible (the cheaper) (you can put blue filter in) 2-Prints adaptors ( small for litle prescription i have no exact value but i think in the range -3 - 3 is for small version) 3- with a little screwdriver, remove the lenses from the glasses 4- Put the lenses in the adaptor 5- Put the adaptor on the Oculus Quest 2 You don't need to scale this model for high prescription. This model is less thick for large nose profile and less deep for better FOV. For magnetic version this is my remix : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5152726/files Even with the reduce the majority of people will still need to use the glasses space i try to reduce at it maximum but if i do more the lens touch the other and that affect the whole piece in term of ''fitting in the oculus'' Only print tight fit one if the right fit doesn't work well. I want to share a solution to a problem that many people will not have but that if you have it totally break the immersion, even if my model is less deep than any other model(if you have this issue any model will not solve its even VirtualClear lens or other brand ) on thingiverse(8.5mm) you can have problem cause its add space between the oculus and your so if you have an issue with this you can add a 2.5mm larger glasses spacer that you can buy at this link i'm not sponsor in any way its just that i tried how people feel when its touch your eyebrow and its so annoying that i was wanted to find a solution: https://int.vrcover.com/products/xl-spacer-for-oculus%E2%84%A2-quest-2?pr_prod_strat=description&pr_rec_pid=6051824697506&pr_ref_pid=6646845374626&pr_seq=uniform Note that the picture is taken with the clasic adapter( my nose don't touch the adapter with the normal one and i prefer the look) and a -6 sphere prescription glasses lens so its very thick and still fit really well and really close to the oculus lens. You may think why there is glass that go out the adapter it is because to keep the good alignment you need to align the outer curved surface of the lens and that another reason why my adapter is better than other cause other adapter clip all the lens in without compensate the wrong lens angle. You can also note that the lens on one side is not exactly identical in the picture it is because if you want a perfect symmetry you need to check the inner curve of the lens there is one side thicker than the other because of the lens profile, the rotation angle of the inner lens doesn't really have impact on the vison its just that lens in glasses are made like that to make its more sturdy with the frame. But for esthetical purpose put the thicker side toward the exterior but mine is not 100% symmetrical. Also i'm not talking English very well (French Canadian) so if i made error in my text take this in consideration. Took about 15min to print each. you need to command 65 mm IPD lense to get the right lens center This adapter are made with the classics round glasses from Zenni. https://ca.zennioptical.com/p/metal-alloy-full-rim-frame-with-spring-hinges/5500?skuId=550021 Print one at a time for better quality CHANGELOG: 2021-12-12: -Converting existing model to polygon reduced one 2021-12-08: -complete remade of the model to get only one simple version 2021-09-05: -Add tight fit for those that the lens are a little loose 2021-07-26: -Complete redesign of the base for a more sturdy adapter and better alignments 2021-07-24: -Add better fitting for a easier installation on the oculus 2021-06-22: -Add a vertically decentered version 2021-06-03: -Add a version model for those that the nose touch the adapter 2021-06-01: -Better fitting on the oculus lens and height adjustment
