This is a hidden tie fastener. Simply snap it onto the existing buttons of your shirt and it slips through the retaining loop on the back of the front tie bar. Everything stays nice and snug with a neat appearance. I printed it in Nijaflex, and I highly recommend printing with some type of flexible filament. There are two STL files available, one is 2mm thick, the other is slightly slimmer at 1mm thick for an even more flexible tie companion. However, both models are quite pliable. Depending on the spacing of the buttons on your shirt, this may not fit every shirt, but it seems to work with all my shirts, including those from various brands, possibly due to standardized button placement.
