I bought some [Bessey TG4.540 clamps](https://www.bessey.de/en-US/BESSEY-Tools-North-America/Products/Clamping-Tools/Woodworking-clamps,-cast-jaw-bar-clamps/Medium-duty,-wood-handle) from [the HD](https://www.homedepot.com/p/BESSEY-TG-Series-40-in-Bar-Clamp-with-Wood-Handle-and-4-1-2-in-Throat-Depth-TG4-540/204986222) and it took maybe an hour after bringing them home before I lost one of the @#$% pads. No problem I figure, [Bessey offers replacement pads](https://www.bessey.de/en-US/BESSEY-Tools-North-America/Products/Accessories---Spare-Parts/Bar-clamps/Plastic-replacement-caps) and I can probably just pick some up from [The Big River](https://www.amazon.com/Bessey-service-plastic-Clamps-3101395/dp/B0057PW3Q2) so let's just take a look... **HOLY CRAP THAT PRICE** do they think I don't have a 3D printer? WELL I DO and now we all have a better solution. Included are the round pad for the movable jaw and a standard pad that covers just the wider face of the fixed jaw, similar to the OEM model. Also included is a long version for the fixed jaw that gives you a lot more clamping surface. Both fixed jaw models are improved from the OEM version, after working with this I tore off the pads that hadn't fallen off of my remaining clamps and replaced them all with the printed version - they're that much better!
