A buddy of mine had a real problem with his high-end woodworking clamps - the pads were busted. I offered to lend a hand, and I took on the challenge. To give them new life, I manufactured replacement pads using TPU, a material that I believed would be a significant improvement over the hard plastic they were originally made of.
